We Are HERE… Again
America is the new USSR, Nazi Germany, and Mao’s China rolled into one
While some might say I’m going too far this time, I wonder if it is far enough. We’ve all seen some similarities today, in our nation, with the above regimes. Granted, much of what we are seeing is not to the full extent of the atrocities of the past, but the warning signs are all around us.
Surely nobody is being sent to concentration camps and ending up in mass gas chambers. Yet some have publicly called for the deaths of political enemies, as well as the unvaxxed, among others. Midnight roundups of dissenters and other political enemies have yet to occur, however we are virtual eyewitnesses to the beginnings of such things. Raids on the homes of Roger Stone, Jeffery Clark and Veritas founder James O’Keefe are a prime example of these. One can only ask who’s next? Mao sentenced millions to death by starvation after relegating them to communes. Of course, this hasn’t happened in this country, but could this present administration’s efforts to choke off energy and food supplies while increasing the costs of both by adding massive inflation to the mix render similar results? These things only scratch the surface.
Corruption is not only widespread but blatant. Those who are either powerful politicians or politically connected are never even charged with any crimes despite mountains of evidence publicly available for all to see. The O’Keefe raid mentioned above was carried out by federal law enforcement though no crime – not federal, state or local was indicated. Federal law enforcement has jurisdiction only concerning federal crimes. The House of Representatives are currently holding a Stalinesque show trial completely devoid of any Constitutional authority. Again and again, those in power thumb their noses at any rule of law in the face of the American public. They actually hold press conferences to brag about how they are breaking the very laws they are sworn to uphold.
If they find it inconvenient to say so up front, they simply lie. Secretary Mayorkas did exactly that stating in public with national television cameras rolling that “our borders are secure” while every day since he’s held his office and every day since, illegal immigrants have literally poured over our borders. In many cases they’ve been unchallenged while many, many more have actually been assisted by his own Department of “Homeland Security”… with our tax dollars, no less. Meanwhile, law-abiding citizens are deemed “domestic terrorists” for actions as simple as questioning a local school board.
If those in power – the very same individuals charged with upholding the laws of our land and representing the citizens of this nation – openly track down and jail public figures – how long do you think it will be before they expand their abuse? I contend their expansion has already started. Our nation is in the beginning of the end of our Constitutional Republic. What would it take for massive roundups to begin take place? Not much.
Thanks to the Covid pandemic, we’ve already seen what damage mass hysteria brought about by a so-called “medical emergency” can do. On retrospect the virus itself was not worth the attention it got. The fears were unfounded. The reaction was unnecessary. Cooler heads quickly found effective treatments to mitigate the effects of the virus. All the other “precautions”, including or especially “the jabs” were overkill, literally overkill in most cases. Yet, even today, people sport masks, though proven to be almost entirely ineffective and cling to the vaccine – far more harmful, especially considering it’s marginal effectiveness.
What the virus was most proficient at was proving the population of this nation, nay the world, can be controlled by fear. Now those who’ve spent the past two plus years enjoying newfound powers salivate over the prospect of expanding their power base.
Most recently they’ve cashed in on fears brought about by mass shootings. Some speculate these shooters may have had “help” from nefarious actors. Just how far-fetched is the idea that someone in power would manipulate circumstances to seize yet more power? Ask the defendants in the case of Governor Whitmer’s alleged kidnapping plot.
What will it take to get there? Not much. It appears mass shootings are a key component to grant politicians the nerve to end-around our Constitution. Already the Uvalde shooting moved the needle for no less than 15 U. S. Senators, ostensibly Republicans, to vote for the latest legislation paving the way for a swath of Red Flag laws that circumvent our Constitutional right to due process, among others. Joe Biden wasted no time signing it into law. One might wonder if a more spectacular event is in the works to push the needle to full panic. What do the leftists really want? Read for yourself the latest legislative wish list – HR127 introduced by Sheila Jackson Lee on January 4, 2021. In addition to an $800 tax, insurance cost mandated by the bill, it includes registration and licensing requirements, including a mandatory psychiatric evaluation (this from Sheila Jackson Lee!), and other liberal goodies.
Oh, yeah, in addition to the above: “It shall be unlawful for any person to possess a large capacity ammunition feeding device.” and “The term ‘large capacity ammunition feeding device’ means a magazine, belt, drum, feed strip, or similar device that has a capacity of, or that can be readily restored or converted to accept, more than 10 rounds of ammunition, but does not include an attached tubular device designed to accept, and capable of operating only with, .22 caliber rimfire ammunition.”
One only needs to read submitted bills such as this to know what the agenda of political hacks such as Ms. Lee really is. If they cannot eliminate the Second Amendment, they will continue to gut it until citizens are left holding pop guns – properly registered and licensed, of course.
Once armed resistance to full-fledged government intrusion is out of the equation, there will be nothing less to stand in the way of the power mongers. They will be free to openly dispense with whatever is left of our Constitution, no longer hampered by the facade of “God-given rights”. Thus the next “health emergency” not be hindered by silly citizens whining about crowded cattle cars or the lack of food in FEMA camps.
Such things could never happen in America… right? Don’t bet on it. We are at the threshold now
