(Note: there will be no post tomorrow.)
Today is the day we celebrate our forefathers declaring our independence from tyrannical King George III. The actual dates of what happened when are not as relevant as the gist of the significance of this day. It marks our commitment to being sovereign, self-governing citizens free from any king or other extraneous rule. In the years to come we would back up that commitment with the blood of patriots who fought and died for the sake of liberty.
Now, in the year of our Lord, 2022, we once again are faced with tyranny. Unlike centuries before, the tyranny now staring us in the face was allowed to take the seat of power by subtlety and manipulation. Some indeed question whether the current occupant of the symbol of our nation’s seat of power legitimately assumed this office. We have every right to this questioning but even this evokes accusations of treason and even terrorism from those in seats of power. Since when has holding our systems and processes accountable become a treasonous act? How did those we ostensibly elect to represent us citizens rise above scrutiny?
Once again storm clouds are rising. This time it is not one disturbance but two… or more. One tempest is comprised of patriots who see little choice but to answer the increasingly violent overtaking of our nation with force. It is ironic indeed that the violence, both real and threatened, is promulgated and funded by the tax dollars of us citizens. Adding salt to those wounds, patriots are deemed as terrorists. The other storm rising is one cultivated by devious infiltrators of our nation’s power centers. They’ve embedded themselves in the very fabric of our society from industry and media to political parties and government – both elected and bureaucratic. Except for a few outposts, they control the flow of everything from information to money. The goal of these infiltrator’s is revolution – to eradicate our Constitutional Republic and replace it with anything else. Again irony rears its mocking head as either option presented is likely to produce the same result.
The one question few patriots seem to ask or answer is what happens should a second civil war actually occur? There are some rumblings about a new constitution or restoring our republic. While these ideals are noble I consistently ask two questions concerning these outcomes. Who can say either result will not bring us right back to where we are today? Secondly, why is violence necessary? Following up on this second question, wouldn’t the necessary destruction take us backwards as a nation rather than move us forward. At this point in time, I am convinced we have another option, one where violence is not necessary. Hear me out.
The “patriot solution” attempts to re-establish what we already have – a nation of self-governing citizens. Any other outcome would place us under military or dictatorial rule… unless we wish to install a king. For the record, I fully advocate re-establishing our Constitutional Republic. My premise is, we already have the framework to accomplish this. What we lack is a blueprint showing us how.
Again, I’ll remind you, infiltrators have worked diligently to bring our nation to this crucial point. For over 100 years they’ve built upon a foundation of lies established almost from the beginning of our nation. Lies such as the need for a “two-party” system, for “internal improvements” (more government intrusion), for “public education” (indoctrination), and on and on. These insidious monsters have even soiled every patriot stronghold. We all know to label that guy who shouts violent action as a mole. We often overlook the more subtle fellows who quietly say “amen”. This is not to say every patriot who stands ready to defend our nation with force works for the other side. Not at all, but rather, we have been blinded by visions of glorious victories in the face of evil. War is always glamorous when viewed from a distance. It is not until we are in the middle of the battle that the bloody reality stares us in the face. Yet these infiltrators, these monsters, have quietly steered the conversation to an either/or choice. Either we take up arms or be overrun. What about the option they don’t want us to talk about?
This third option acknowledges our inherent power as citizens, codified by our Constitution. We ARE self-governing citizens. Those who imagine they rule over us, are, in fact UNDER us. WE rule. They serve us at OUR discretion. How did things get turned so upside down? By trickery and sleight of hand. It all began with the two-party system, more or less. You knew this all along, I’m sure. Have you ever thought you were voting or could only for the “lessor of two evils”? Most of us have. Of course a vote for the lessor of two evils is still a vote for evil. Why have we all been brainwashed into thinking no other option existed?
In most cases, the two-party system can be thwarted by a write-in vote. So often I’ve heard the argument about a third party or a write-in that it means “it would just mean more votes for the bad guy”. How relevant is that if they are both bad guys? The problem with this two-party system the only real winner is always government, as the ultimate goal of both parties is to build their power base. The most effective way to build a power base is to expand government. By now it should be obvious the democrat party has mastered this. They always openly advocate more government as a solution to every and any problem. What they are really saying is “give us more power”. Well, now they’ve just about wrapped this all up. Our best option is to take it all back – but how?
While the idea is simple enough – use write-in voting to circumvent the political parties, it will not be all that easy to implement. First of all, at any hint of effectively using write-in voting will surely bring swift knockdown attempts by the parties. They will attempt and often succeed in eliminating this option. In some areas, write-ins are already discounted, if not “illegal”. (I am certain a challenge to any such laws would quickly overturn such nonsense.) We can also expect to see all manner of obstacles and blockades thrown in our way. After all, the politicians will be fighting not only for their power base but for their very occupations. Personally I think we need to change their occupational classification to something much more descriptive of their function. The term “leech” comes to mind.
How then, can we stay strong and be victorious? My own inkling is to accomplish this on a local level -county by county. Anyone looking at a map of national elections by party will at once view a sea of red. You know why this is. Our nation overwhelmingly leans towards the conservative side. I’ll go further than that by saying if it comes to a question of liberty or tyranny, of freedom or subjection, a massive majority of Americans will choose freedom and liberty every time. Rather than offering liberty and freedom, the two parties now offer a choice between a little subjection or more subjection, all wrapped up in pretty packaging.
Now I’ve tried, again and again to “work within the system” only to find these systems, and I’m talking about the political party systems, are always, always, ALWAYS run from the top down. And the top goes to the highest bidder. This can no longer be allowed. Instead, we need to gather, as citizens in our own counties and put those individuals in elected county seats – county and school boards and sheriffs. From there we need to encourage and draft citizens to represent us on state levels and then national levels. Both state and national representatives should be held accountable to the citizens of each county.
The direction where all of this should go is not something to be decided by me or any one citizen but on a county level, then moving up to the national. I do believe we, as a nation, need to scale back national and state involvement in local affairs. Our aim should be a return to limit governments on all levels – limits set by our respective constitutions.
Can we do this? I believe we can. The only thing stopping us is a lack of will to act. We’ve become apathetic. We do not want to be bothered. It’s too much trouble. It will “never work”. The bag of excuses is bottomless. What will most likely happen is we will continue to draw from this bag of excuses until the instigators succeed in fomenting either a “civil” war or a revolution. It does not matter to them which way things go as they anticipate they will rise above it all to seize the seat of power once and for all without dispute.
